A Pathway for Every Student
Students at Urban Pathways K-5 College Charter School have an educational plan that’s developed and closely monitored by a team that includes the student, parents, and support specialists. Learning Partnership meetings are held three times a year to share student successes and leadership strengths. These meetings provide an opportunity to set individual goals for students and develop a plan of action. We also offer the following to our students to assist in blossoming the whole child by providing exposure to yoga, music, art, and STEM.
Clear Standards and Requirements
Every child knows what is expected, what progress has been made, and what remains to be achieved. Students will develop competency in core academic areas, and a network of community and family support that will encourage and demand continued success.
Exciting Learning Opportunities
Students at Urban Pathways learn through a combination of individualized practice and basic skills, theme-based courses, small group projects, STEM, Yoga, Music, Art, and community-based experiences. The end result is increased student engagement and the skills and motivation to be successful.
At UPK5CCS, we strive to create a unique learning environment with a focus on developing the whole child so all of our students succeed academically.
Parent Trainings and Support
UPK5CCS provides workshops for parents and connects families to community services to support student success. We also have a group of parents/guardians that meet once a month. This group is called Parent Action Committee also known as PAC. Please contact the following people for information to find out how to get more involved with this group.
